Muchos de vosotros nos habéis trasladado vuestro deseo de venir un día con nosotros a Etiopía y conocer nuestra casa, a nuestros niños, y Etiopía.
El próximo mes de Agosto de 2020 volvemos a ir, y este año queremos proponeros que vengáis con nosotros.
El viaje duraría unos 12 días, en los que nos visitaríais en Lalibela y luego proseguiríais viaje para conocer el norte del país. Hemos diseñado un recorrido y hemos calculado un precio aproximado, con todo incluido, (vuelos, visitas, transporte, hoteles y comidas) por unos 2.500.- euros por persona. Os lo adjunto.

‘ Explore the Northern Historic route and the Simien Mountains ‘
➢ Tour Length : 11 nights / 12 days
➢ Mode of Transport : Air and Surface transportations.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Addis Ababa to Lalibela
- Arrival to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, and transfer to Airport terminal 1 for a morning scheduled flight departing to Lalibela.
- Then transfer to the hotel reserved for a check-in and a lunch break.
- In the afternoon, visit the house and children of LALIBELA FOOD COMPANY.
- An overnight stay at Maribela hotel.
- Day 2 : Lalibela
- Visit the first group of churches.
- Drive back to town for lunch.
- In the afternoon, visit the second group of the
rock-hewn churches. - An overnight stay at Maribela hotel.
Day 3 : Lalibela
- In the morning, make an optional hike ( an hour and half ) to Mount Asheton ( 2850 meters above sea level ) or just drive, for a visit of Asheton Mariyam church ( carved out by the saintly King Na’akuto La’ab, during the 13th century AD ).
- A free afternoon to explore Lalibela’s city life.
- An overnight stay at Maribela hotel.
Day 4 : Lalibela to Bahir Dar- Drive to Bahir Dar ( 300kms ), admiring on the way the beautiful landscape of Ethiopia’s central massif.
- An overnight stay at Jacaranda Hotel or similar. Day 5 : Bahir Dar
- A full day boat excursion on Lake Tana, visiting the churches of Ura Kidane Mihret and Azuwa Mariyam ( both built-up during the 14th century AD and located in the Zeghie peninsula ), and the church of Narga Selassie ( built-up during the 17th century AD ).
- An overnight stay at Jacaranda Hotel or similar. Day 6 : Bahir Dar to Gonder
- A morning drive to the village of Tisisat
( 32kms ), for a visit of the Blue Nile falls. - Drive back to the city for a lunch break.
- Then proceed on a drive to Gonder ( 178kms ).
- An overnight stay at Taye Belay hotel or similar.
Day 7 : Gonder to Simien Mountains National Park ( SMNP )
- Drive to the Simien Mountains National Park
( 155kms ), with some stops on the way at Woleka ( an oldest Ethiopian Jews village ) and Kosoye ( to admire the beautiful landscape ). - An overnight stay at Simien Lodge.
Day 8 : Simien Mountains National Park ( SMNP ) - An early morning drive to Aynameda ( a two and half hours drive ), then start a trekking activity to Imet Gogo
( 3928 meters above sea level ) passing via Gich campsite, for an amazing moment of exploring the highest peaks of the Simien Mountains. - Trek back to Aynameda, meet the vehicle and proceed back to the lodge.
- An overnight stay at Simien Lodge.
- Day 9 : Simien Mountains National Park ( SMNP )
to Gonder - A morning short hike to explore more of the mountains and encounter the endemic Gelada ( Chelada ) baboon.
- Then drive back to Gonder.
- An overnight stay at Taye Belay hotel or similar.
- Day 10 : Gonder
- A full day visit of the Castles compound
( housing 6 castles built during the 17th/18th centuries AD by the Gonder kings ), the church of Debre Birhan Selassie, and King Fasildes bath. - An overnight stay at Taye Belay hotel or similar.
Day 11 : Gonder to Addis Ababa
- Take a morning scheduled flight departing back to Addis Ababa.
- On a city tour, visit the National museum and Mercato ( which is the biggest open air market in Africa ).
- An evening farewell dinner held at a cultural restaurant.
- An overnight stay at Nexus hotel or similar.
- Day 12 : Addis Ababa
• End of the tour, and departure.
